"Do not be afraid of work that has no end"

As typically, I thoroughly enjoyed Jonathan Fields’ most recent pod, this time a return visit from another enduring favourite of mine, Scott Harrison of Charity:Water: https://www.goodlifeproject.com/podcast/clean-water-crisis-charity-water-effective-philanthropy-scott-harrison/. At end, they return to Harrison’s previous response to what it means to live a good life - to do work without end.

I enjoyed Fields’ post-conversation commentary on this, in which he offered that “slow is not the same as stuck” (evoking connections for me to Seth Godin’s new book, The Knot), and the invitation to ask oneself: “Are you really stuck, or are you just early in the game and should just keep going?” Good grist for the mill, in these gentle provocations and throughout the ep.
